Businessman and investor Fabiano Zettel, CEO and founder of Moriah Asset, was the interviewee on Monday's edition of the New Deal podcast. The program, presented by Gabriel Oliveira, is part of BM&C News, an independent YouTube channel focused on investors.

Throughout the interview, Zettel talked about his professional career as a lawyer, his transformation into an entrepreneur and investor in the health and wellness sector and the creation of Moriah Asset, his wellness and media investment company.

"It's been a dream for a long time," he said. "I've been in the market for many years. I started working very young. I was a lawyer for 20 years. I had a big law firm, I served companies in the financial market, I capitalized myself and created Moriah for investments in this niche. I always wanted something along those lines.

Zettel also said that, after the first investment, he took a liking to the business and, before he knew it, he was setting up a range of companies, none of them competitors, all of them in health and well-being.

Initially, according to him, the idea was to invest in each of them separately. But over time, synergies were discovered between them. "One could end up adding to the other's business. This led to partnerships between brands on media and other fronts," he said.

Currently, Moriah has eleven companies already invested in and others in an advanced evaluation process for new investments, he said. "Today, my idea is to set up a network of entrepreneurs in the health and wellness area, who talk to each other, help each other and can invest with me in other companies in the future," he said.

On the outlook for the sector, Zettel said: "There's no going back for the wellness market. Because if there's one thing everyone wants, it's to live long and live well," he said.
