Survey carried out by Finnish technology platform for mergers and acquisitions lists 15 funds and companies in the region

Moriah Asset is one of the top 15 investors in healthy living technology in Latin America, according to a survey carried out by Inven, a Finnish artificial intelligence platform that identifies the most relevant investors, companies and trends in different private markets.

In addition to Moriah, the study mentions a number of Brazilian funds that are not just focused on the health and wellness sector. Among them are Bossa Invest, Kaszek, Norte Ventures and KPTL. Of the 15 investors, ten are from Brazil. The others are from Mexico, Chile, Argentina and Colombia.

"It's interesting to note how fast the Brazilian health and wellness industry has advanced in recent years, with strong investments in innovation and a bold business vision," says Fabiano Zettel, founder and CEO of Moriah Asset. "For us, as the only investment vehicle not specialized in technology startups on the list, it is also an important recognition of pioneering work in the sector in the country."

According to the study, investments in health and wellness technology in the region are growing as consumer awareness of health and the search for solutions that integrate fitness and technology increase.

"The future is bright for startups that can uniquely meet the demands of the market," says Ekku Jokinen, co-founder of Inven, who signed the opening text of the survey. "With a growing focus on personal health, interactive training experiences and holistic wellness, this sector is booming."

Among the companies considered as investments in health and wellness technology are everything from food and drink manufacturers to wearable devices and digital platforms that connect trainers and clients.

"Each investor brings unique resources and perspectives, making them key players in this growing industry," says Jokinen.
