In 2017, Vinhal became the first black man to compete in the sport's most prestigious event, the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii, coming 13th. Today, he combines an intense training routine with life as a speaker, mentor and entrepreneur, sharing his purpose of impacting lives through high performance and well-being. He recently became a partner and ambassador for Push & Pow, bringing his trademark mantra "Let's push!" to the brand.
In this interview with Zettel, he talks about his trajectory, the setbacks in choosing and structuring a career in triathlon, finding his purpose in sport and how he reconciles his intense training routine with being an entrepreneur, speaker and mentor on social media, where he shares his training, challenges and achievements.
